The Goffstown Select Board will conduct Public Hearings in accordance with NH RSA 41:14-b on Monday, 10/07/2024 at 6:30 PM and Thursday, 10/17/2024 at 6:00 PM at Goffstown Town Hall, 16 Main Street, Goffstown, NH to accept public input on a proposed ordinance entitled “Electioneering at Polling Places Ordinance”. The purpose of this ordinance is to protect the safety and rights of voters and others at the polling places and allow for the uninterrupted movement of voters and vehicles by placing reasonable restrictions on the locations at which distribution and display of campaign materials and electioneering may occur and on vehicle parking at polling places.
Copies of the proposed ordinances are available here or in the Town Clerk’s Office. The Select Board is scheduled to vote on this ordinance on 10/28/2024.
