The Goffstown Select Board will conduct Public Hearings in accordance with NH RSA 41:14-b on 07/14/2025 and 07/28/2025 at 6:30 pm at Goffstown Town Hall, 16 Main Street, Goffstown, NH to accept public input on proposed ordinances.

• 3 Hour Limited Parking During School Hours on Barnard Park and Parks and Recreation Parking Lots Ordinance
  • When enacted this ordinance would prohibit extended parking of any vehicle from parking more than 3 hours at Barnard Park, 9 Barnard Lane, and the Parks and Recreation Building, 155 S Mast St parking lots during the Goffstown school year and hours (Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.).
  • When enacted this ordinance will promote available parking spots for all residents and visitors to the Town of Goffstown. This will prohibit vehicles from parking all day in public parking spots.
  • The Parks and Recreation Department will provide a limited number of parking permit passes for GHS students while attending school during school hours and during the school year at Barnard Park only.
• No Parking During School Hours on Albert Street, Cross Street, Higgins Street, and Plummer Street Ordinance
  • When enacted this ordinance would cause the installation of a Stop Sign and require all drivers traveling east on Rockland Avenue to stop at Saint Anselm Drive.
• Hillsdale Drive Speed Limit Ordinance
  • When enacted this ordinance would reduce the speed limit along the entire length of Hillsdale Drive to 25 MPH.

Copies of the proposed ordinances are available above and in the Town Clerk’s Office. The Select Board is scheduled to vote on these proposed ordinances on 08/11/2025.
