Public Notice: Proposed Amendments to Public Works Fee Schedule
The Town of Goffstown announces proposed amendments to the Public Works Department Fee Schedule, with changes scheduled to take effect on September 22, 2025. These updates apply to the Highway, Engineering, Solid Waste, and Cemetery divisions and are intended to reflect current service costs and operational needs.
Highlights of the proposed changes include:
- Highway Division: Updated permit fees and bond requirements for right-of-way and driveway work.
- Engineering Division: Review fees based on engineer compensation and overhead, with adjustments occurring semi-annually.
- Solid Waste Division: Adjustments to disposal fees for propane tanks, antifreeze, and other materials; clarification of flat-rate charges when the scale is offline.
- Cemetery Division: Introduction of new fees for cremation urn vaults and temporary markers; updates to interment and disinterment charges.
These changes were last amended on February 11, 2025, and are now under review for further adjustment.
