March 2, 2026 GOFFSTOWN – Posted Road Restriction – Effective March 9, 2026 Per RSA 231:191, the Town of Goffstown may employ load/weight restrictions during the spring thaw period.

 The Town’s load limit has been posted on all affected roads. This is done to prevent roadway damage and to protect the large infrastructure investment the Town has made. Typically, the posting lasts approximately 4 weeks from the initial posting date. Waivers will be issued by DPW on an emergency basis only as conditions allow. The following roads in Goffstown, NH will be posted effective March 9, 2026 for the Posted Weight Limit during the spring thaw:

 PAVED ROADS: Laurel Street, Heald Street, (Ivy St. to Holly St.).

 GRAVEL ROADS: Arrowhead Drive, Dumont Park Road, Ferson Road and Summit Road.

Elections

GOFFSTOWN – The Town Clerk’s Office at Goffstown Town Hall will have adjusted hours for the week of March 9-13, 2026, to accommodate the 2026 Town and School Elections.

Monday, 03/09/2026The Town Clerk’s Office will be open for regular business from 8:00am - 4:00pm. The Town Clerk’s office remains open from 4:00pm - 5:00pm ONLY to:

• accept requests for absentee ballots; and
• accept any completed absentee ballots filed in person or delivered by an absentee voter’s delivery agent.

Tuesday, 03/10/2026 – The Town Clerk’s Office will be CLOSED all day. The Town Clerk and staff will be working at election polls for the Town and School Elections. On Election Day a qualified “delivery agent” may deliver an absentee ballot to the voter’s poll and deliver it to the Clerk by 5:00pm.

Town and School Election Day – Polls at Goffstown High School (District 1) and Bartlett Elementary School (District 5) will open at 7:00am and close at 7:00pm. For more information about the Town and School Elections go to: https://www.goffstownnh.gov/325/Elections. 

Wednesday, 03/11/2026 – The Town Clerk’s Office will open late at 10:00am.The Town Clerk’s Office will open late at 10:00am and remain open until 4:00pm.

Thursday, 03/12/2026The Town Clerk’s Office will return to regular hours 8:00am - 4:00pm.

Friday, 03/13/2026The Town Clerk’s Office will be open for regular business from 8:00am - 4:00pm.The Town Clerk’s Office remains open from 4:00pm - 5:00pm ONLY to receive requests for candidate recounts.

The Town of Goffstown’s Winter Parking Ban is now in effect. From 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., no vehicles may be parked on public roads. This measure ensures safe and efficient snow removal throughout the winter season.

 Enforcement Details:

1. The Goffstown Police Department will strictly enforce the ban.
2. During the first week, written warnings may be issued if weather conditions permit.
3. Vehicles posing a hazard during snow removal may be towed at the owner's expense.
