Strengthening Seniors One Class at a Time: Bone Builders is a strength training and balance exercise program to prevent and reverse osteoporosis. This class helps build bone density and improves balance; weights and equipment will be provided. This program is free, and all are encouraged to attend. Bone Builders will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:30 am at the Parks and Recreation Building (155 S Mast Street). Build your inner strength and confidence through the powerful philosophy and Korean art of self-defense, TaeKwonDo! Train with Master Andrew Jefferson of Bulsajo TaeKwonDo. A fifth-degree black belt with over 25 years of experience in martial arts. It's more than just kicking and punching! Exercise your body and lose weight while gaining flexibility! Learn tools to help you make positive changes in your life! Children learn about Honor, Respect, Discipline, Confidence, and Judgment! Learn from an Internationally Certified Black Belt! Classes combine both traditional and modern exercises to help you gain the most from your training. Master Andy believes in the traditional discipline in his classes and that Who We Are is more important than what we can do. Classes take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Parks and Recreation Building (155 S Mast Street) from 5 pm to 6 pm.
